Pipeline Plastics and Dow bring a fully fused, domestically manufactured PE-RT piping solution to higher-temperature applications across North America.
WESTLAKE, Texas, October 20, 2026. Pipeline Plastics, with support from Dow, today announced the launch of the Pipeline Elevate RT™ pipe Certified Solutions Network, an integrated platform designed to accelerate adoption of high-temperature polyethylene (PE-RT) piping systems across North America. Through the collaboration, Dow has approved Pipeline Plastics as the exclusive North American manufacturer of Pipeline Elevate RT™ pipe utilizing Dow’s INTREPID™ 2499 advanced PE-RT resin technology for industrial and infrastructure single-wall pipe applications.
Pipeline Elevate RT is made with the Dow INTREPID 2499 compound, which is a PE4710, and is used like any PE4710, except it has an extended maximum temperature range up to 180°F, whereas other PE4710s are limited to 140°F. This higher temperature performance allows for a range of new applications not available to PE4710s in the past. PE-RT has been available for years, but the industry is only beginning to recognize its full potential. The companies share a broader vision: establish Pipeline Elevate RT pipe as a recognized North American solution for fully fused, higher-temperature polyethylene piping systems through technical leadership, engineering education, domestic manufacturing, qualified distribution, and complete system support.

The Certified Solutions Network unites Pipeline Plastics, Dow, distributors, engineers, contractors, and approved fittings manufacturers around a common purpose: expand the market, protect system integrity, deliver confidence, and grow together.
Pipeline Elevate RT pipe combines Dow’s advanced PE-RT resin technology with U.S.-manufactured pipe, approved fittings, and heat-fusion joining to create an integrated, corrosion-resistant piping system. Supported by domestic quality systems, product traceability, engineering resources, and qualified distribution, the platform gives owners, engineers, and contractors a complete solution for demanding higher-temperature applications.
Certification of distributors in the network is based on demonstrated commercial, technical, and market-development capabilities, not volume alone.
